HIGH QUALITY VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE

SEE THIS LINK: http://www.techpogo.com/2008/07/tips-on-high-quality-videos-on-youtube.html

THE FREE VIDEO EDITING APPLICATION Videospin SOUNDS INTERESTING: http://www.videospin.com/

edit: videospin works ok but suffers a bit from the usual "preset" problems that are intended to make it easy to use ... comparable to Windows Moviemaker but has an automatic upload to YouTube feature ...

I found uploading a "high quality" video to YouTube to be a bit hit and miss. I ended up doing about 10 different renders with various settings before I finally got one version to work, but even then it only worked after a few days after I'd given up...it uploaded and sat alongside two other versions and all came up with the black 'Sorry this video has been removed' message, but after a few days one finally came up with the high quality option and has worked fine ever since. I'd given up and just left them be until that point, so it's still a bit of a mystery to me. Anyways, the file that ended up working for me was a 40mb .wmv file, although I can't remember any of the settings because I tried so many combinations getting YouTube to even show my low quality renders.
