hey russell!

can you list all the things that should be in the UT3 box? i have been assured that it will be really hard to track down a collector's edition.

how many cds should there be in a normal box? mine only has one.

hey Guys, it's easy to get big points when you have it on the lowest setting. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Fruzi, the special edition has 2 DVD's. One for the game and One with the video tutorials. If you can't get one I'll transfer a bunch of tutes onto the resources drive. Why don't i do that anyway. Fine.

Cheers

I should have said, "play Tetris for exactly an hour"...

I got the collectors edition today. From the Eastgardens Westfield.
It was in 'Games Wizard' on level 2 and they had 3 others so if anyone is trying to find one to buy. It was $120 though so you might want to shop around a bit more than i did.
Now the test is whether my computer can run it. Fingers crossed

Hey guys before you all rush out and buy it take a look at http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=590379
I am having this problem and there is no answer as far as i can tell. My specs might not be quite there (not sure what graphics card i've got) but i'm not going to go updating when there isn't an answer to the problem.
You don't know what the deal is by any chance Russell?

A REMINDER TO 'EVERYONE' TO TURN ON YOUR ANONYMOUS COMMENT ENABLER THINGO. YES, PERSON I AM MARKING, THIS MEANS *YOU*

I have a working version of UT3 that works both online and offline, and I've also got patches and 'bonus' stuff that I have yet to install/test (which hopefully includes the video tutorials, but judging from the file size, probably not.)
The install file hits the 6GB mark but if anyone would like to try it out, I can organise some DVDs - let me know.

hey Guys, we have the game running fine in the labs. And it's pretty smooth on my 1 year old laptop. Same for the XPS laptops. We don't seem to be having any of the problems I saw on the forum. Working in the labs seems to be a workaround untill there is the patch everyone is asking for. I can't see any times that we have scheduled to meet...and I'm getting other requests for meetings on Thursday so you better get in quickly or I'll fill up. I'm a popular guy it seems (at least with everyone else). I'll have a meeting at 9am, so make any of yours after 10. Cheers

oh...ok well how about our team meets at 1pm?? You ok with that night people??
Cheers
Jo
P.S. official geek status has been assumed. I received my UT3 in the mail today (amazing, next say delivery) and I was VERY excited, aside from the fact i need a video card to run it...
